Lama Temple previously the residence of Count Yin Zhen, who became Emperor Yongzheng in 1723. In 1744 after Yongzheng's death in 1735, the buildings became a lamasery staffed by monks from Tibet and Mongolia. Stroll around the courtyards and halls with your tour guide. Here you'll learn that the Lama Temple was a princely residence and a government building before it was used as a Buddhist temple. Learn how the yellow sect Tibetan Buddhism became the most popular one in China, and hear what the locals think about Buddhism from your tour guide. Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, Beijing, China Pass through the south gate to the magnificent Forbidden City, a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions and gardens, which served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for more than 500 years.
The Forbidden City was the imperial palace from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is located in the middle of Beijing, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government.

Hall of Great Harmony (Taihe Dian), Beijing, China Follow your tour guide to explore the most important buildings along the middle axis, such as Hall of Great Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony and the Hall of Complete Harmony.
Palace of Heavenly Purity, Beijing, China Move on to the living quarters, to visit the Hall of Heavenly Purity, the Hall of Union and the Hall of Earthly Tranquility. Learn many interesting stories about the emperor and his family who lived inside the palace. 30 minutes
The Imperial Garden of The Palace Museum, Beijing, China Your tour will finish at the North Gate of the Forbidden City, you can choose to explore more on your own, or your tour guide can help you to get a taxi to your next destination.( At your own cost). If you choose the option with private transfer, you will be transferred back to your hotel in downtown. 30 minutes
