After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, our night journey starts at our base in Abisko. We’ll have dinner in a restaurant , Abisko Mountain Lodge, a special recipe of reindeer (or vegetable on request). Abisko National Park is the best place in the world to see the northern lights because of its blue hole and micro climate. We have the most cloud free nights compared to other places in the Arctic Circle. We are famous for driving wherever we need to drive to find clear a sky, we can take you to Kiruna’s arctic forest or even to coast of Norway! We don't limit ourselves by distance! Your guide will tell you many stories about the northern lights and Vikings and also there is a photographer that will take pictures and send it to the guests. Our guides are professional guides focused just on Aurora. The bus is always heated, we serve hot drinks and make a camp fire for you to keep warm. After tour, we will drive back to Kiruna.

    Our Kiruna Northern Lights Tour will take you to Abisko, the best place in the world to see the Aurora Borealis. After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, we will drive to Abisko village, where we will have dinner in Abisko Mountain Lodge and get ready for an adventure!

    Our tour will start off with dinner, which features traditional delicacies of Swedish Lapland. While we are having dinner, our guides will teach you about this natural area, and show you the most important facts to understand this unique region, from the ground to the sky. We will tell you the stories about Lapland and its inhabitants, the Sami people, Abisko and Kiruna, and the science behind the Northern Lights.

    Our experienced guides track the weather all day before the tour to decide where the best place to drive is the night of your tour. We don’t limit ourselves by distance or time, so we can drive wherever is needed to find clear sky on the night of. When we arrive at our viewing destination, we will make a roaring campfire, and enjoy traditional Swedish cookies, chocolates and warm drinks while we admire the Northern Lights. Our photographers and guides have been guiding in this region and taking pictures of the Aurora for more than 3 years. They will take pictures of you and the Aurora in the sky with their professional camera which is optimized for night photography and the Aurora. If you have brought your own camera, they will help you set it up and guide you to get the best shots. The professional photos from your trip will be available 3 days after the tour. We will send them to you at no cost so that you have a beautiful memento and photos to show your friends and family at home.

tour was excellent, dinner was good. we did't end up seeeing a full auror (just on lens). Trnsport is an issue in Kiruna, taxi stop at 12pm. We got a phone number from a private taxi but it was non-committing agreement. in the end, tour owner send us to our accommodation (which they don't have to). recommend this tour

I was only in Kiruna for 24 hours just for the purpose of doing this tour and seeing the northern lights. Most people told me I was crazy but it absolutely was worth it! Dimitri (not sure how he spells it) was our guide and he was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and easy to chat with and also a very safe driver. I was nervous with the road conditions but he made me feel very comfortable. Dinner was delicious and the lodge was beautiful. We did end up seeing the lights multiple times throughout the night but spent most of it trying to escape the clouds. Even with the clouds, the experience was awesome! They really will drive wherever they need to to find the lights and are constantly calling each other and checking websites to find the best spot. I hope to return and do their 3 day pass in the future!
