Beatiful hike, not very challenging. Great & safe driver Lahiru. Service as described, but expensive in hindsight. My advice - get your accommodation to book a 4WD/car once you get to Nuwara Eliya, will be much cheaper.

We had a great walk around the plains. We saw deer and a few birds. Very happy we paid someone to drive us there and guide us.

Charith was my driver, guide and walking companion for the loop trail. He picked me up and dropped me off from /to my hotel. He was very helpful and considerate and pointed out a number of sights, flora snd fauna.
Thanks Charith!
There was some confusion initially with my being told my hotel was outside the permissible radius for complimentary pickup / dropoff. I insisted it was not (less than 3 km) and finally the matter was settled. And I was told that Charith would come to collect me. That was the only not-so-nice thing about this trip.
