We had a delightful e bike tour in Orvieto. The weather was very changeable. It was cool and windy in the morning and hot and sunny in the afternoon and slightly rainy and windy. In the evening and cooler. our guide, Paulo, lives locally and knew all the history of Orvietto, including geological and antiquities of the churches, piazzas, and castles. The E bikes were fun. I wouldn’t recommend them on a busier day as it’s hard to get around the people that are walking and the cars that are stopping. The food was delicious prepared by a local family in their restaurant next to the Douro with their delicious family wine being served and homemade eggplant Parmesan. Bread. And olive oil.

Paulo was a fantastic host, knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained the history of Orvieto and the various eras in fine detail. The bikes functioned flawlessly and were comfortable and easy to ride with the electric assist when needed. The dinner at the end of the ride was fabulous and we were very very happy. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Orvieto!

A complete E-bike tour of the town of Orvieto. Our guide was very thorough in his history of the town, showing us some of the under ground caves from early times. A wonderful dinner, including wine in the square looking at the Duomo. Highly recommend this tour.
