Thia classic Salkantay Trek is a customized alternate to the usual Inca Trail. You will trek for 5 days and reach Machu Picchu. The tour includes a professional guide and accommodation.
  • Tourist train from Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) to Ollantaytambo
  • Professional cook
  • Inflatable mattress (Term-a-Rest Mattress)
  • Tourist bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco
  • Accommodation: Campsites (3 nights) and a Hotel in Machu Picchu (1 night)
  • Camping equipment: Personal double tents (4 person tent which allows for greater comfort, and also storage of backpacks)
  • An emergency horse which can be ridden if you are feeling ill or if are a little slower
  • Professional bilingual tour guide
  • A pair of the hiking poles
  • Early morning transfer by private bus to Salkantay head trail
  • Pre-trek briefing (Our guide will visit your hotel a day before the trek for your briefing)
  • Duffel bag (for your personal belongings)
  • Water every day (excluding the first 4 hours of the trek when you need to bring your own)

    My friends and I embarked on the Five Day Salkantay Trek. It was a great experience, and we could not have done it without our amazing tour guides Juan De Dios and Diego. Our tour guides were also very knowledgable, teaching us much about the history and culture of the places we stopped by. The whole team made the trek so much easier, helping us carry our equipment, tents, sleeping bag, food, etc. The food was amazing and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this tour group to anybody who is looking to do this trek.

    The Salkantay path showed to be challenging phisical and mentally could have done it without the help of Daniel. He was always there for me with coca leaves and the condor pee that is how he call it he is humoruous and knowledgeable
