Descending from the Obersalzberg on the way to the town of Berchtesgaden you will also see where the underground bunker complexes below the mountain were located and the grounds where Adolf Hitler had his residence, the Berghof. I cannot recommend a better tour or a better tour guide, Carlos! Everything was fantastic from start to finish! While the weather (and elevator) didn’t cooperate, we made the most of it and really enjoyed our time with Carlos! He’s super friendly, knowledgeable, funny… just a super good guy all the way around and will make sure you get your money’s worth. If we are ever around Salzburg again, he will be our go-to guide for sure! Thank you!

It was a drizzling day with poor visibility which would hinder the vista opportunities of many tours, especially at elevation but this tour was special in other ways.
Carlos was likable from the beginning. His love of Salzburg and the surrounding area was obvious. He had an answer for every question. It was clear in the first hour of the tour that he was very knowledgeable. He conveyed his knowledge with great rhythm and tempo as to easily understand what he was trying to convey…just as a good teacher would.
I would HIGHLY recommend Carlos as a tour guide for all things Salzburg!
It was a wonderful experience. ❤️
