During this 1-hour private walking tour, you'll go behind-the-scenes as you hear expert commentary about the United States’ first president and his historic estate. This tour includes some of the gardens and grounds. You'll also have the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Washington family tomb. Following the private tour, you are welcome to continue your visit with self-guided exploration of the Museum and the Distillery & Gristmill (seasonal). É um local muito bonito! Vale a pena visitar e prepare um dia inteiro para aproveitar toda a propriedade. Há muito para se ver. No local há uma lanchonete onde poderá comer sanduíches e tomar alguma coisa. Há também lojas de souvenir. A casa pode ser visitada. O ingresso custa $28,00. Achei muito caro! Fomos até lá de metrô até a estação Huntington e depois pegamos o ônibus 101, que deixa a gente em frente ao local. De Washington até Mount Vernon levamos cerca de uma hora.
