We took our own tour to Eger- enjoyed many of the caves and drank some fabulous red wines. Soltesz Egri Bikaver- bulls blood wine is a must try if you are here. Easy train ride and a fabulous town!

Our tour guide, Tom, was informative, helpful, personable and so much fun. My family and I really enjoyed our day trip to Eger, it was the highlight of our family holiday to Hungary.

George our guide was very informative and enthusiastic and a great sense of humour. He was very flexible for our needs too. We spent the morning in the beautiful Eger castle and fantastic afternoon doing the wine tasting....the St.Andrea winery was simply outstanding.
