At first, the tour begins at the beautiful, new visitor center. Come and enjoy traditional Dominican food and beverages in the open-air restaurant with breath-taking mountain views. Next, make your way to the first waterfall on our interpretive nature trail, where you will encounter hundreds of species of tropical plants and birds. Thus, the number of tourists coming to the Damajagua Waterfalls has grown dramatically. In 1998, the local guides officially formalized their association with the AGRD, the Association of Guides of Rio Damajagua. Our team has extensive experience as water guides and strives to ensure that your satisfaction is our number one priority. Our goal is to make the time you spend with us the highlight of your vacation.

Our team will be waiting outside the port with the transportation transfer, their respective ID's and company's logo. They will have a sign with your name for you to better recognize us.     Come and enjoy the pools and waterfalls of the Damajagua River Tour! Perched in the rolling hills of the Northern Mountain Range of the Dominican Republic, this is a natural treasure that you will not find in any other part of the world. Indeed, Mother Nature has produced these beautiful pools, carved by the limestone. Be ready to have fun! Although the waterfalls have existed for millennia, they were only recently discovered by the outside world. Therefore, the first tourists began arriving at the falls in 1994, and little by little, word got out about this amazing natural treasure and spawned a guiding industry for the local young men. Nevertheless, ten years later, nearly 50,000 tourists every year come to Rio Damajagua to enjoy what Dominicans have known about for centuries.

We had the absolute best day and experience with Misael. He was a terrific tour guide to the falls and brought us to a terrific restaurant. Ask for him, so much fun!

We had a BLAST! Jesus and Ricardo were EXCELLENT! He named our group “sexy family” ????. We stopped at a local shop and they educated us on coffee and chocolate and gave samples and shopped. Part of the $ goes to help families. We bought coffee (ground) & a carved rock of mom and child❤️. Jesus made this excursion so much fun! Also once inside the park we purchased a photographer to go w us on the hike. His name was Carlos!! He was so fun and very professional and stayed right w us! Idk the name of the company he works for but I highly recommend him. Maybe he can be requested at the Photo Booth! Thank you Marysol Tours, Jesus, Ricardo, & Carlos! We will always hv such a great memory!
