Claudio’s personalized tour was an amazing experience. He picked us up at our residence mid-morning and we stopped for coffee and a pastry on the way to the Frascati region. We then drove up winding roads through the countryside, up to the ancient archeological site of Tusculum for a hike around the site with amazing views of the the region. Claudio was very knowledgeable about the site and details about the surrounding areas. We then visited the 16th century winery for a tasting and tour. The owner gave us a tour of the vineyards and caverns under the farmhouse, explaining in detail their wine making process and the history of the property. We then drove to a local restaurant for lunch and a second tasting experience. The restaurant terrace was so beautiful and relaxing with cascading flowers and plants. The chef had recommended an exquisite lunch but also offered us to choose from the menu, if desired. Claudio was patient and ready at a moments notice to pick us up and drive us back to Rome. We loved the experience and highly recommend the tour if looking for a shorter tour from the typical whole day trip to the Tuscan region. The trip was 5-6 hours and only a short 45min drive from Rome.

Claudio was the absolute best on this tour. He took us to some amazing ruins before the wine tour. The winery tour was fascinating and the wines super yummy. The best part was seeing and tasing wines down in the volcanic cave cellars. After the winery he chose a wonderful restaurant that took my husband's allergies into consideration and worked with us when we wanted to purchase additional glasses over and above what the tour offered. Best way to end a vacation. Thank you Claudio!!!!
