My wife and I chose the Full Day Tour with DGS while on our honeymoon in Rome and had Ivano as our guide for our very full day in Rome. Ivano was incredibly friendly and treated us like he known us our entire lives. He took us to all of the popular spots to see all of the monuments as well as to a couple of smaller off the beaten path stops to see some of the beautiful churches around Rome. He was very knowledgeable about his city and was more than willing to answer any questions we had throughout the tour, especially with learning some Italian along the way (Andiamo!). We also had lunch with Mamma Allegra which was such an interesting and delicious experience as well. Mamma Allegra welcomed us into her home and provided a delicious meal (she's ruined carbonara for us because we will never find any as good as what she cooked!) and, again, chatted with us like she had known us for our whole lives as well. Overall, we had such a wonderful time and we are looking forward to eventually returning to Roma and using DGS again for one of any of their other tours. Couldn't possibly have a stronger recommendation for their services!

What a wonderful tour and the owners are great people! We travel the world as airline employees and often travel last minute as was the case here. We booked this tour while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean and they were very prompt and helpful with responses and reservations after we booked. Ivano was our guide and one of the owners and he couldn't have been nicer. It was myself, my wife and two kids ages 12 and 8. We were driven around VIP style in a beautiful Mercedes Van with VERY good Air Conditioning (it was hot!). Both my kids were engaged in the tour the entire time. Ivano made sure my kids enjoyed it as much as we did! We booked this tour and a half day tour with a drop off at the cruise port the next day. Even though my wife and I have visited Rome many times, we were excited to see places we have never been, enjoyed local cuisine we would have never visited and met so man wonderful people on the way. Thank you for such a great time and treating my family like royalty. We would recommend this tour company and Ivano anytime!

Golf Cart Tour On June 28, 2022 our group of 5 tourists from Canada spent a very up close and personable day exploring the wonders of Rome with Ivano as our tour guide.  From the moment Ivano picked us up at our hotel with his bright smile and comical demeanour we were inspired for what was ahead of us.  It was obvious this man was passionately proud and highly knowledgeable of his Roman heritage.   The day we went on this tour was very hot.  Ivano took us to many historical sites while patiently waiting as we took in the spectacular views and snapped unlimited pictures.  Occasionally, he escorted members within our group up to some of the amazing historical sites and responded quickly to our needs brought on by the extremely hot weather and personal physical limitations.  He provided cold bottled water and inquired about our physical condition throughout  our day together.  This was more than expected and very much appreciated.   The ultimate highlight was having lunch with Mamma Allegra in her apartment home in downtown Rome.  We enjoyed wonderful food, local wine, stimulating conversation and exceptionally warm hospitality provided by Mamma Allegra.  By the time we left to continue our tour of Rome’s many highlights, we felt like we were old friends. The only thing that could make this tour even better would be a microphone system as it was difficult to hear all the amazing details and stimulating stories provided by our guide, Ivano.   All in all, we had an extremely exciting day as Ivano’s passion for his city of Rome was intoxicating leaving us wanting more.  My husband and I highly recommend this tour.
