    I found a ticket advertised in street at better rate. That was my fault but I thought queue for St. Peter is the same as to museum. Good to draw attention of first time comers.

    Amazing! We were here on Easter Monday. Very few people at St.Peter’s Basilica. We were lucky to get in within 15 minutes and stay inside with very few people for 45 min. Really very blessed and lucky. Must visit

    Booked this trip on 9th March and paid the £100.30 for 2 of us and had a confirmation message confirming this , on 8th April I was contacted by the tour company to say the time for the trip had now been pushed back by 2 hours to 1pm as the 11am wasn’t available , I was really annoyed about this as we were only in Rome for 3 days and had our days all planned out and it was 3 days before the trip was due to take place . On the day We turned up on time and had been upgraded to a tour with a guide instead of the audio device because of the time change , we’d paid over £50 each for a tour of the Vatican museum , Sistine chapel and st .Peter’s basilica with skip the line tickets , we DIDNOT step foot anywhere near St. Peter’s basilica and when I asked the guide when we would be going he replied that we wouldn’t and that the tour had stopped going to St. Peter’s since covid ! I was absolutely gutted ! I couldn’t believe it , why is viatour falsely advertising something , taking your money and not giving you what you’ve paid for ! I complained to the guide , he told me to complain to the ticket office so we went there , they told me to complain to the agency which I did and it got me nowhere , I requested a refund from viatour and got an email to say they were refunding me £10 !! What an absolute insult !! We went round to St. Peter’s after the tour had finished but unfortunately the queue was that long that we didn’t stand a chance and the next day we flew home .we’ve booked many trips with viatour over the years all over the world but we sadly won’t be using them again . You can’t advertise a trip take somebody’s money and then not honour it . Shocking !!!
