I'm sorry to have to do this - this is such a great tour but it was ruined by a tour guide who was just the worst. Snide, sexist, rude, tactless - the lot. His English is good but his comic material served to exclude everyone (especially the women and people of color), and didn't distinguish between what was clearly a joke ("don't eat the black seeds in the dragonfruit/Welcome to Cambodia/Welcome to Houston/get your cocaine here/ditch your honey here and get a new one") and what was clearly fact, so that we never knew what part of the information he provided was true. In this, he failed in the essential task of any tour guide. I was unaccompanied on the tour but I could tell that many of the couples were made visibly uncomfortable by his antics. Second, his lack of solicitousness for the people on the tour (allowing them to jump four feet down unassisted from a boat, mocking the people as they entered the rowboats, gunning the golf cart to jeer at the people behind) was just painful. Today was utterly spoiled by a man who should never be a tour guide. Ever.
