About the tour

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get carried away from Salzburg to a quiet region where you can enjoy stunning nature. The bus travels through Hof and Fushl to the first stop, St. Gilgen, a charming town in the Salzkammergut region. Visit the local Saint Giles church and admire the famous winged altar dating back to the 15th century.

Another attraction which you'll visit during the tour is the White Horse Inn hotel, which is located on Lake Wolfgang. This hotel is just as unique as the mountains and lakes region in which the hotel is located. The hotel is the setting of the legendary comedy 'Im Weissen Rössl', making it world-famous and attracting guests from all over the world.

Enjoy the picturesque surroundings on your way back as you pass by Krottensee and the castle of Hüttenstein. Lastly, you will pass by the shore of Lake Mondsee and past the town of the same name which was once known for its monastery.
