Home cooked meals are always delicious and filled with warmth and authenticity. In the typical Italian homes, there is always plenty of food to accommodate even unexpected guests and spend enjoyable moments together. On an extended trip to the small, family-run shops and stalls of the Sanremo fruit and vegetable Market you’ll source the best local ingredients in season. In addition to cooking pasta and the sauces to go with it, the engaging host will show you how to make a tasty Italian dessert, a typical Ligurian antipasto, and a main course. The experience will end with an amazing family style meal! The recipes can easily be recreated at home. Friends or family members, who are not cooking, can join us for dinner (price on request).

My husband and I were in Liguria for a week in July and had the pleasure of meeting Roberta for a home cooking class. Roberta taught us to make the best pasta we’ve had in Italy or elsewhere (and we have sampled hundreds of various pasta dishes around the world). She is incredibly knowledgeable about Liguria and Italian history and culture, which helps understand the beauty of Ligurian cuisine even better. Roberta is a very accommodating and generous host! We loved our experience of preparing a primi, secondi and dessert with her! Such an amazing experience! Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to take any tours with Roberta, but I am certain they are fascinating! We highly recommend Roberta’s company!
