With a friendly guide, travel through the Highlands, visiting Loch Ness and Glencoe, and pass John o’Groats on route to the stunning Orkney Island archipelago. With Kirkwall (Orkney’s capital) as your base, discover the area’s historical highlights such as Skara Brae, Maeshowe and the Standing Stones of Stenness. On route back to Edinburgh, call in at the 15th-century ruins of Ardvreck Castle and Culloden Moor, an important Jacobite battlefield.     We had the most amazing time with our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Scotland and educated us with his knowledge. It was an extremely memorable trip. Thank you Rabbies for the vacation of a lifetime.

    I went into this tour with no expectations. Martin and Allan the tour guides did a fantastic job showing off Orkney and the Highlands.

    A fantastic experience with our driver/guide, Billy. His knowledge of the history and some of his stories (some so fantastical they’re hard to believe) were informative and entertaining. What we saw and experienced in five days was nothing short of amazing and probably couldn’t be achieved if you were self driving. We had Rabies book our accommodation and apart from the hotel in Inverness, this was excellent. The Inverness hotel itself was well located and well appointed however it was the attitude of the hotel staff that was the problem which was no fault of Rabbies. No hot water in the morning and no breakfast and only a very insincere apology. Breakfast was to be included. This was our third trip with Rabbies over a two week period. The previous two were just as good and we have no hesitation in recommending them.
