Hands down, the best Scotland (Alba) experience!
James was our private guide and is the owner of Alba Experiences. He is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell his love of his country through his stories and history he shared through out the trip. Attention to detail was top notch!
This tour was the perfect way to end our trip to Scotland: and a dram of whiskey was the only way to say farewell, but we will be back. My only regret was not booking them for all of our tours in this beautiful country.

James took us on an awesome 9 day tour. We saw several waterfalls, (Plodda Falls, The Hermitage, and others) that were raging flows with all the current rains. We were blessed with wonderful weather for our days and even had a weather adventure when we were leaving Orkney. James handled the circumstances very well and was able to find another ferry that returned us to the mainland. It was our third tour with James and he continues to excel with his knowledge and guidance. If that was not enough, he is a talented photographer who shared his knowledge with me as I tried to capture nice photographs to take home. James is very accommodating. We continue to chose to tour Scotland with James and have recommended him to our close friends.
We spent several days in Orkney and enjoyed seeing Skara Brae, Ring of Brodgar, Maeshowe Chambered Cairn, cathedrals, chapels, palaces, and traversed the Churchill Barriers. The Highland Park Distillery tour is wonderful. Our tour guide at Highland Park was named James also. He did a wonderful job too.
While in the Highlands we enjoyed Falkland, Glencoe, and Inverness.
We had a wonderful walking tour of Edinburgh.
