Between sunset and nightfall in the desert, combined jeep tour, stargazing, and bonfire in Ramon Crater. The tour begins about an hour and a half before sunset and continues into twilight and darkness This will allow you to enjoy a fascinating jeep tour in the beautiful hours of the day and also watch the wonderful sky of the desert and get to know the various heavenly bodies while sitting by the fire drinking desert coffee and tea. *The tour is scheduled and adapted to the summer days and the departure times as well, to go on a tour in the autumn or winter days, reservation can only be with a limited guarantee, depending on the weather on the tour day.     The most beautiful time of the day in Ramon Crater in the hot summer time is along the afternoon and sunset time. Meeting time will be at 17:00-17:30 in Mitzpe Ramon, we can meet you anywhere around the town or pick you up from your hotel. In our tour, we will cross the Ramon crater through beautiful 4x4 desert trails, visit the most interesting places in the crater and watch a spectacular sunset. Between twilight time and nightfall, we will drive to a nice spot in the desert, light up a campfire and sit by the fire, brew a teapot on the fire and enjoy the cool breeze of the summer desert nights. As the evening goes by and darkness falls, we will try to bring the sky’s celestial objects closer to you by means of easygoing guidance on the stars, the planets, the Moon, the constellations and Zodiac signs.

We thoroughly enjoyed Eyal. He gave us so much history about the crater and we loved his 1997 Land Rover which was the best vehicle for the crater! Watching sunset and then meeting his colleague Effie who had prepared dinner under the stars and then seeing stars and planets with his amazing telescope and learning so much about the universe, it was really magical. Highly recommend! Thanks Eyal!

Learning about how the crater was formed and viewing the stars fro Eyal Korin was a great experience. Eyal is both fun, a well informed guide, and a good teacher.
