Hector is a good cook and does know the Ortigia Market very well. We made a tour of the market, bought fresh items to cook, then walked to his restaurant where we crowded into the kitchen and watched him demonstrate the techniques to prepare several local dishes, including baked swordfish and pasta with mixed seafood. The meal was great we had the whole restaurant to ourselves for lunch, and everybody had a really good time. The only issue we had was the starting time got changed the day before and we didn't understand that it wasn't just a typo. (It seemed strange to change the starting time of an event like this.) But we called the office and they confirmed the change and we were able to meet up with the rest of the group. I highly recommend this class!!!
