Miguel was wonderful! Some sites were closed due to wildfire danger & Miguel kept us informed, reimbursed for tickets & modified the itinerary to some wonderful sites due to the closures. He was knowledgeable, timely, flexible & kept things interesting throughout the day. Highly recommend!!

I just returned from the most incredible small group tour of Sintra, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Our guide Miguel was absolutely phenomenal - he's a local resident of Sintra with an infectious passion for the area's rich history. His knowledge was extensive and he brought every location to life with fascinating stories and historical context that you simply wouldn't get exploring on your own. What made this tour special: - Small group size allowed for a personalized experience - Comprehensive itinerary covering Sintra's highlights - Major bonus: Basic tickets to both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira were included with the tour price. The places we visited was perfect - we got history, architecture, natural beauty, and cultural immersion all in one day. Miguel's enthusiasm was contagious and I learned so much more than I ever expected. Pro tip: We decided to visit Cascais on our own time rather than as part of the tour, and that was definitely the right call. There was already so much to see and do in Sintra itself that we were glad to have the full day focused there. This tour exceeded all expectations and provided incredible value. If you're considering a Sintra tour, book this one - you won't regret it!
