Excellent way to see multiple sites in one day. Our driver, Miguel was a wealth of information. He was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of Lisbon’s history

I picked this tour because it promised to be a smaller group and more customizable than some of the larger tour groups, and that’s the way it turned out. While Miguel will come with a day planned out for you, he is also very accommodating to shifting things around based on your interest. (He was also very accommodating with changes to the day of the tour). Being a local, he seemed very knowledgeable about the area and Portugal in general, as well as being very nice. Being >65 with cranky joints, if you go to Pena Palace, we would say that the shuttle bus ride up (and down) is well worth the three euro pp total. Being our first time in Sintra, I did not know that the area is literally a rainforest microclimate, so mist and fog are to be expected, especially in winter. Miguel took us to Restaurante da Adraga for our lunch. This was a lovely white-tablecloth seafood place on a pretty (and isolated) beach setting. We enjoyed the clams and shrimp, and had the sole (partly because we thought that was as much as we could finish) and that was good as well. However, if you’re more into street food or a place in Sintra, I’m sure all you would need to do is ask Miguel and he would accommodate you.

We were lucky to have found you.. what a great experience we had for 6 hrs touring Sintra & the coast beyond. We would never have been able to see everyone without your help & expert guidance. Your knowledge of area is vast & so interesting.
