SMALL GROUP/ SHARED WINE TOUR. This is not your typical wine tour. We offer private access to ultra small production, family wineries, estates and vineyard properties typically not open to the general public. Shared group wine tour is a maximum of 6-7 guests. Taste limited release wines at all private property locations, walk the vineyards and tour barrel rooms often with the owners or winemakers themselves at their private vineyard homes. Perfect for couples or small groups! No crowded commercial wineries or tasting rooms. All seated private area tastings. *VOTED BEST OF SANTA BARBARA 2013-2021*

We pick up directly from your location for our SHARED/ GROUP WINE TOUR which can include hotels or homes. If you are not saying at one of these hotels listed, we also pick up at residences (AirBnB, etc). If you are driving up from Los Angeles (or other cities out of the area) just for the day, we can arrange to meet at a central location in downtown Santa Barbara (easy off the freeway). This location is typically Hotel Californian. Please put this in your pick up location when driving up for the day and we'll reply with exact pick up time once tour is confirmed.

    Visit all private wineries and vineyard estates not open to the general public. No crowded commercial wineries or tasting rooms. Walk the vineyards and tour wine production facilities and privately and exclusively. All tastings are seated and one-on-one often with winemakers or owners.
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
  • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Tour is not booked until you have received Confirmation. All tours are limited and subject to availability.
  • Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes it can be warm in the vineyards and cool in the barrel rooms.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Karina was very knowledgeable. Lunch was great. We visited 3 different wineries and were able to taste a variety of different wines. Very enjoyable day. I’m looking forward to coming back.

This was such an incredible experience. A small group setting is so much better for a wine tour. We learned a ton about sustainable wines and had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Karina, was so incredibly knowledgeable and very detail-oriented. She did so many sweet things to make our day so special!

Scott took the 7 of us on a lovely drive through the mountains to 3 incredibly different spots. The first stop was an industrial facility where they make wine and we got to try a bunch while sitting among the barrels (and got to meet 2 of the 3 owners) -- we also had huge cheese plates there with 2 kinds of cheeses, a bunch of dried fruit & nuts, and some meat. The second stop was a lovely tiny vineyard where we did a tasting outdoors by a pond and then had lunch (which we picked ahead of time from a few different options) and all the food was excellent. The third stop was a larger vineyard and a private tasting room. At each stop we were the only people there aside from our guide Scott and the couple of people doing the tasting.
