SCAM AT BULGARIA EASY RENTAL
In mid-September, I traveled to Bulgaria to take a course. To make
things easier, I did some research on the booking.com app, of which I
have been a long-time customer. Unlike the other companies, I noticed
that there was a company offering a good vehicle at a very competitive
price: so I made a reservation with the company EASY RENTAL BULGARIA
(reservation number
The next day, at 11 am, I went to the airport to pick up the car.
1. The problem was that the vehicle was not what I had paid for, it
was inferior, and since I was in a hurry, I accepted it anyway.
2. They forced me to pay an extra 200 euros in insurance (the car was
already insured). They claimed that with this insurance I would not
have to pay even if damages occurred.

3. I was charged 800 euros as a security deposit, which has not yet
been returned.

3. Upon pick-up, the car had a series of damages, I asked at pick-up
to point them out, and they told me not to worry, because since I had
full insurance, I wouldn't have to pay anything extra for it.
3. I kept the vehicle for 2 weeks, and returned it to the state on
Friday, the 27th (around 10 am, I signed the checklist, in which no
damage was pointed out, the company refused to give me a copy of the
checklist, they said I would receive it by email) however, no damage
was pointed out to me. I TRAVELED TO MILAN, as per the attached
receipt.
4 On the 28th, my card was charged, without any prior notice, for 800 euros.
When I questioned the company, I received an invoice and a false
receipt. DATED as if I had delivered the car on the 28th, however, I
delivered it on the 27th, and I can prove this with the attached
ticket to Milan.

6. When I asked the company, they informed me that there were damages
(all pre-existing), and even if there were, I PAID FOR THE FULL
INSURANCE. They even refuse to give me back my security deposit
7. Unfortunately, I only checked the company's reputation after the
rental, which is known for scams.
