SCAM AT BULGARIA EASY RENTAL In mid-September, I traveled to Bulgaria to take a course. To make things easier, I did some research on the booking.com app, of which I have been a long-time customer. Unlike the other companies, I noticed that there was a company offering a good vehicle at a very competitive price: so I made a reservation with the company EASY RENTAL BULGARIA (reservation number The next day, at 11 am, I went to the airport to pick up the car. 1. The problem was that the vehicle was not what I had paid for, it was inferior, and since I was in a hurry, I accepted it anyway. 2. They forced me to pay an extra 200 euros in insurance (the car was already insured). I TRAVELED TO MILAN, as per the attached receipt. 4 On the 28th, my card was charged, without any prior notice, for 800 euros. When I questioned the company, I received an invoice and a false receipt. DATED as if I had delivered the car on the 28th, however, I delivered it on the 27th, and I can prove this with the attached ticket to Milan. The car was in terrible state. I was stopped by the police because of the poor condition of my tyre's. I had to replace the 2 front tyre's immediately. Easyrent says this is not included in the assurance. I had to pay a lot of money because they are lacking maintenance!!! The warranty you need to give is not just blocked on your credit car (like all companies do) but they really debit it from your card. IT TOOK UP TO 2 MONTH'S AND A LOT OF PHONE CALLS BEFORE I GOT MY MONEY BACK. Stay away from this company. There are others.

I was the victim of a car rental company scam in Bulgaria on 26/08/2024. I rented a car that didn't have insurance, so they forced me to pay extra insurance. I paid another 163,61€ for a COMPLETE INSURANCE and they did against my will an upgrade of a Mercedes car full of scratches, dents and problems. I left a deposit of €600 that to this day they have not returned to me where I would have the obligation to return between 20-30 days. even if there had been a problem with the car that there wasn't, there was a COMPLETE INSURANCE. During the start, they refused to come and check the car, but I insisted and there they came to go around the car. I signed a document that the car was accepted and they refused to give me a document for receipt or copy of the document I signed! The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly! I complained to the company that manages this service and they asked me for proof from the bank that confirms that the said amount has not been returned to date.
