    The visit to St. John’s Parish church is intriguing, it’s gothic inspired architecture, intricately carved staircases and elaborately crafted pulpit are not to be missed. Its serene graveyard has a magnificent panoramic view from Pico Tenerife in the North to ragged Point in the East. The graveyard is also perfect for grave spotting. Look out for the tomb of Ferdinando Paleologus, a descendant of Emperor Constantine the Great.

Driver was punctual and very polite. Picked us up at the cruise terminal and it was just the two of us on a private tour in a nice car with A/C. We had a lovely lunch stop with good food. This trip suited us as it gave a good overview of Barbados in a day and was better value than the trips offered by the cruise.

An excellent tour of the whole island if Barbados emphasising the different landscapes on each coast. Andrew, the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting and entertaining information.

Lunch. What went wrong 1. They came 30 minutes late I called twice. 2. Tour guide dropped us off with little further guidance or information. 3. The ride was very rough on these roads and the seats weren’t made for that. 4. Driver abandoned us in a running bus for 20 minutes while trying to resolve a nonpayment situation by one couple. 5. While only 5 stops were made to disembark we were an hour late at our stop. 6. We mentioned this to our driver and he got very defensive. Needless to say he talks to my partner that way he lost his tip!!
