All Inclusive Leopard Nest Luxury Glamping experience in Yala

We have engaged Beyond Escapes for our Yala Tour and it was fantastic! Not only did we manage to see numerous wild animals in the safari, the experience to stay in a tree house is great! Separately, I would like to compliment our driver, Mr Kumara, who fetched us from Mirissa to Yala Park stay, and the next day to Nuwara Eliya. (Note that Safari has its own and another driver.) Although, Mr Kumara wasn’t the main Safari guide, he went the extra mile and showed us around and dropped us at some spots around our journey to take nice photos as a guide! 2 thumbs up for him! Thank you once again!

We stayed here in our honeymoon and was blown away by the experience. The cabins are very stylish and comfortable, loved being so close to nature. The service was fantastic, we were very well looked after. The food was sensational, loved eating dinner under the stars. The on site naturalist Roy was an enthusiastic safari guide, he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. Highly recommended. A fantastic and memorable experience!

I was absolutely blown away by this experience! We were picked up by our driver promptly at the designated time at our hotel in Unawatuna and driven in a nice car with air conditioning for between 3-4 hours before arriving near the entrance to Yala National Park. Upon arrival we were greeted by an open-air safari truck to take us to the camp. When we arrived there we were given some refreshing watermelon juice and taken to our luxury safari tent, where we were offered cold beers to enjoy on the deck. After that we were treated to a delicious lunch under the shade of a tree! I forgot to mention we were the only ones at the camp at the time, so I felt like we got extra special treatment! After lunch we were taken on our first safari with a very knowledgeable guide. They did their best to make sure we saw an elusive leopard, as well as many other animals. When we arrived back at the camp at night we were welcomed with a gin & tonic, followed by a huge BBQ feast. I slept great thanks to the air conditioner in the tent (sadly, it is necessary for most of the night!) and a few flying ants woke me up from time to time. You can't really be bothered by this when you are in a safari camp! The next morning we had a 4:45am wakeup call with fresh coffee so we could get to Yala for opening at 6:00am. We didn't see nearly as many animals in the morning but it was still exciting, nonetheless! Before departing we were treated to one last fabulous breakfast of fresh fruits, pancakes and some more traditional Sri Lankan foods. The people working in the camp were wonderful and deserving of much more than I tipped (because I hadn't thought about that and didn't have much cash). I would love to return on this adventure one day!
