We are on the bay, not the Gulf. The water is much calmer. Your destination is about a mile away. John's Pass has sandbars, islands, dolphins, manatees, and more. It's a popular place to paddle. Beach your kayak or sup on the sandbar and soak up the sun. Search for the mangrove tunnel. Watch ships sail under the span and work on your tan. You don't have to meet us at a slippery public boat ramp! We have free parking and a private floating dock. Our shop called The BoatDega has snacks, drinks, and restrooms. We can set you up with a cooler and fill it with ice. You also have the option to reserve an Easy Snorkel. Swim in the shallow water by the sandbar and search for seashells.

We saw dolphins while paddling, which was so cool! The guy who helped us with the equipment was very nice and had helpful tips on where to paddle.

I tried SUP for the first time a few days ago and rented a board from Jason. If you're in town visiting or live here and don't have the equipment needed for a few hours of fun out on the water... this is the place to go. Location has parking, and is on the water (intercoastal) for easy access. (I wasn't able to take any photos because it was my very first time on a board, didn't want to try and figure out selfies while trying to keep myself from falling lol)
