About the tour

Depending upon group size you will depart from Stockholm in a comfortable car, minivan or bus towards the north. You will travel into the beautiful Swedish countryside and feel how the time starts to turn backwards. Your first stop is at Össeby church and ruins, where you can see how the church was built and learn more about the epoch art style. Travel further to the Vallentune church, here you will see one of the most famous rune stones in the Stockholm region. Learn all about these stones and their meaning. Travel further to visit the Markim-Orkesta, two churches once proposed to be a world heritage site. Last church to visit is the most sacred church of Sweden, the Fresta church. Holy Bridget was born here, the international Saint of Sweden and also one of the most important saints in the Catholic Church.
