This 3 day Mole National Park Safari was an incredible adventure and I highly recommend it to all potential travelers! From the time of booking, we were able to coordinate with the tour group Grassroots to have all 8 of us on the same trip. After we landed, a cheerful tour guide Isaac Akologo picked us up in a large van with the driver Ernest. Ernest is a very skillful driver, able to navigate quickly and efficiently through Ghana traffic & the speed bumps on the path to Mole National Park. Seeing the wild baboons, elephants, monkeys, warthogs, and birds of Mole National Park is surreal and seeing even one elephants make the whole trip worth it. Throughout the experience, the tour guide Isaac went above and beyond for us: bussing plates from the motel kitchen to speed meals up, hearing our needs and adapting the trip to meet them, talking with park staff and police to get us a safari van, etc. Isaac and Ernest really made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience and when you book this tour, see if you can request them!

Isaac is an excellent tour guide. He is kind, engaging, flexible, knowledgeable and fun to be around. We had a wonderful weekend, saw beautiful animals and nature, ate good food and were able to visit a few local villages and art museums. Isaac’s focus on environmentalism and sustainable relationships with local communities is clear and deeply appreciated.

I tookna slightly modified version of the tour, my guide Isaac was fantastic. Friendly, informative and very helpful. I would reccomend GrassRoots to anyone.
