Kendo, or the way of the sword, has a history of more than 1000 years. It began with the introduction of iron and iron forging technology into Japan from China and Korea. The early 15th and 16th Centuries saw proliferation of traditional Japanese swordsmanship schools created by great swordsmen with legendary skills. During this experience, you will understand the way of the Samurai through the lens of the Japanese traditional martial arts called Kendo.

I have been studying Kenjutsu and Iaido for ovet 20 years. Kendo is an art onto itself. Kenshi is a master. For young or old this is an experience that will leave you with an understanding of Kendo and the people involved with the art. Kenshi will teach you the basics, then show you how deep you can go if you choose to. From shinai..to armor this kid knows his stuff. Do your self a favor and spend a day with Kenshi.
