Your experienced and knowledgeable, private driver-guide will pick you up for your tour to discover the history and culture of Martinique! Start by visiting la Savane des Esclaves outdoor museum where you'll learn about the island's history from the Amerindians to the abolition period. You'll enjoy a private visit in your own group. Then the tour then takes you through Trois-Ilets, stopping shortly to see the old church and also the Anse à l’Ane beach, and then through a winding forest road to Anses D’Arlet. This is a small village with old wooden houses and a beautiful church. A stop for some pictures and optionally, a swim and/or snorkeling to spot tropical fish in the coral reef, and if lucky, turtles! After this, we drive up to the Morne Larcher mountain for a view on the spectacular Diamond Rock. We finish with a visit to the Cap 110°, a memorial site dedicated to a sunken slave ship before taking the highway back towards your accommodation/cruise ship.

C'est ma deuxième fois en Martinique avec des amis, et à chacune d'entre elles , Meri nous fait découvrir les merveilles de ce beau pays. Notre coup de coeur cette année fût la Savane des esclaves ou l'on a découvert les atrocités du passé mais dans un place splendide. Toute la journée, nous avions des questions pour Meri et elle a su répondre à celles-ci car elle a une très grande connaissance de la Martinique. On y retourne probablement l'année prochaine et pour la troisième fois , Meri sera notre guide assurément.

Meri a su nous faire découvrir le sud de la Martinique en une journée complète. Nous avions peur du délais mais le programme est complet et très enrichissant. Meri prend le temps de donner des détails sur chaque arrêt ou sur l’histoire de la Martinique. En répondant à nos questions on peut parfaitement ressentir sa passion pour l’île avec une bonne humeur contagieuse. Elle a parfaitement su s’adapter à nos envies et n’a cherché qu’à nous satisfaire. Merci beaucoup pour cette visite gravée dans nos mémoires. La prochaine fois, nous visiterons le Nord avec Anoli Tours! À bientôt !

Mary, the owner of Anoli Tours, was our driver and guide and she was wonderful. We had a great day of sights visiting gardens, the Pompeii of the Caribbean, historic sights , and a fantastic, authentic lunch. Mary speaks many languages, she is knowledgable, friendly, great sense of humor, good driver, this tour met all of our expectations and more. Hands down would recommend her and absolutely no reservations about the tour and her. Wonderful day was had by all.
