Eddy was amazingly knowledgeable about birds in the area and was fantastic at explaining ID marks. His love for the birds and the surrounding area shone through the entire outing. I've done a few guided birding outings in different countries and without a doubt i saw the most species in the shortest time on this trip. I went with my wife (who isn't as into birding as i am) and she quite enjoyed it, particularly because there are so many beautiful colorful birds. And the lunch was pretty good too!

Had an amazing time birdwatching and enjoying the canals of Sian Ka'an with Eddy and some friends. Eddy is an incredibly knowledgeable and talented birder and has a great route to see many of the Yucatan's most lovely birds that also includes a tour of historic Mayan ruins. He is thoughtful and patient and a joy to hang out with. We saw 43 different species on this trip and were particularly excited to spot an American Pygmy Kingfisher in near perfect conditions. Eddy is also amazing in organizing his work with Ximbal Mayan Tours to support the local Mayan community and preserve and share the rich history with visitors. Be sure to check out the other tours that Eddy and his company offer, they're similarly incredible!

He observado pájaros en casi todos los países de la cuenca amazónica y otros países de Sudamérica y nunca había conocido un guía tan apasionado, inspirador y comprometido con la protección de la biodiversidad. Eddy nos ha ayudado mucho a completar especies para nuestro listado de Ebird en salidas de observación juntos. También tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer otros tours con Eddy y Ximbal mayan tours en los que conocimos lugares increíbles. El amor y respeto de Eddy por los saberes de su pueblo indígena maya es impresionante.
