This was overall, an amazing trip except from a couple of things. We were collected from our hotel at 5am, Was told to wait at the hotel gate but the mini coach went past us to the hotel entrance. After this confusion, we was met and taken to Antalya Airport where we met our guide. Tour was in both German and English for a total of 15 guests. We were directed to check in where we was already registered. 7.30am flight to Istanbul with Pegasus Airlines. 50 minute flight and then directed onto the tour coach. Lots of interesting things to see, some walking but mainly at your own pace. Tour guide seemed to prefer talking German so felt like we missed out some things. Tour was well worth the approx £160 per person in my opinion. However the tour guide offers extras at the end of the tour, such as a boat ride (worth the extra price and very interesting with amazing views). The dinner however is very expensive approx £24 for three courses with a good view but not socially distanced and very basic/small with dry poor tasting chicken with rice and melon for desert. No choice. You can find your own meal, cheaper, tastier, with good views yourself in the free time available. Then it’s 90 minutes tour mini coach back to Istanbul SAW airport for the flight with Pegasus to Antalya leaving at around 10.30pm. Easy directions back to transfer coach. Back to hotel at around 12.30am to 1am. Very long day. Take Turkish Lira for meals and drinks (none provided). Enjoy the views and culture away and very different from the all inclusive resorts. Don’t go for the dinner they offer at the end. Otherwise a worthwhile trip showing Turkey away from the tourists.
