The tour starts from the port where your cruise ship arrives. A quick ride to Pisa and just behind the ancient city walls we will have the chance to see the leaning tower so famous worldwide, but remember: other buildings are in the Miracle square such as the Baptistery, the Duomo and the Camposanto. From Pisa we drive for 75 min to Florence, and the first stop (or last stop, depending on the time and traffic) will be at Piazzale Michelangelo: there the beauty and the grandeur of the Duomo, Giotto's Belltower, Santa Croce Church, the political palace named Palazzo della Signoria will be displayed to your eyes. In town I will be your tour guide and together we will visit the Accademy museum with skip the line tickets, where the Statue of David and others called the "Prisoners" by Michelangelo are housed, and then the rest of the city. After free time for lunch or gelato or shopping, we meet to go to drive back to your cruise ship.

I am a travel agent from New York. My company specializes in planning itineraries with private tour guides in each city. I have personally toured with Rossella and sent clients to tour with her. She is smart, warm, knowledgable, and flexible. Just last week, my cousin and his new wife visited the area on a cruise (their honeymoon). The ship's itinerary changed at the last minute and they ended up going to Livorno a day later than originally scheduled. Rossella had already seen the change and made arrangements to switch the tour day before I even called her to tell her about the adjustment. Rossella picked them up in Livorno (she drives a new, clean Mercedes mini-van) took them to Florence, then gave them a private cooking class in the mountains (they made fresh pasta and tiramisu), and finally, took them to Pisa on the way back to the ship. It was a very full day and they had a great time. Rosella is the first person I will contact whenever I, or a client is going to visit Tuscany.
