Here, your guide will show you and guide you through the interior of this incredible church, musing on its history, anecdotes, and the many eras it has seen in its hundreds of years of existence. Tullía did an excellent job explaining beautiful St Mark’s Basilica in depth, which is a truly one of a kind church. Likewise our tour of the Doge’s Palace was very comprehensive, as she detailed the the spectacular different rooms as markers of Venetian history and educated us on the styles of Tintoretto and Veronese. Overall she brought the rich history of Venice to life very vividly.

Venice Venice Tours avoid company "Tiqets" or "Headout" or 'Crown Tours" as these are unreliable - and they will not refund in full if things go wrong as they did for us Tiqets sub-contracted 'Headout' who then sub-contracted to Crown Tours. They cancelled our tour via WhatsApp the day before. Refuse to refund in full. Avoid pre-booking via these websites . . . ask the Concierge at your hotel to fix up tours . . . and avoid these problems
