Isola di San Michele, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy We will end up our tour at the cemetery water bus stop: you can choose to take the water-bus back to Venice or to Murano. Both are couple of minutes away but in opposite directions.

    We will visit the church of San Michele and walk through the cemetery fields, the evangelic and ortodhox sections, the new extention designed by David Chipperfield, the main sections from the 19th centuries, including those reserved to nuns, monks and to people who served the army. We will walk through the monumental city's cemetery and hear the stories behind some of its famous tombs, while enjoying the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere

Words cannot do this justice. It was a truly moving experience, the weather was stunning (avoid on misty days) and you can absolutely do this as a stop off en route to Murano and Burano.

Muss man gesehen haben! Wir haben diese Tour mit "abseits der Massen" kombiniert und Valerio hat uns wirklich tolle Ecken von Venedig gezeigt. Wir kommen wieder! (und machen dann auch sicher wieder eine Führung mit Valerio????- es gibt noch viel zu entdecken)
