The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Verona. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

    We continue in an old osteria where we are going to taste two other main dishes of the Veronese cuisine: the "Pastissada", a special recipe with which you can enjoy horse meat or Polenta with soppressa (Italian cold meats)

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Beautiful food and wine tour in the streets of the center of Verona. Experience to be recommended absolutely, a walk with stops in typical places to taste the delicacies of the place. Excellent way to spend a few hours around a sunny Verona. Francesca, our tour guide, was absolutely excellent - so friendly and knowledgable. Included four stops to taste a delicious selection of culinary delights. Don’t eat a big breakfast before going on this tour! Would highly recommend.

A great tour that showcased perfectly the local cuisine of Verona. Emma was very knowledgeable about all things Verona and her passion for her hometown is notable. She was super quick on her feet when the Gelato place was closed and quickly took us to a bakery to try a local dessert and coffee. We've had tours cancel on us in the past for being the only two people on the tour but this company was kind enough to see it through and gave us a mini private tour. Definitely would recommend due to the delicious food, kind and knowledgeable tour guide, and as a great way to learn and explore the beautiful city.
