This was the first of three walking tours I haven taken with Manumission Tour Company. The guides are all engaging and knowledgeable. As an Alexandria local I was fascinated to learn details about the history of real people that lived and worked in Alexandria, and both their challenges and accomplishments.

This is a great walking tour for both visitors and locals. Had a fantastic time today with Pam on the Freedom's Fight tour. She shared so many interesting stories about the people and places that built the Alexandria we see today (and some things we can no longer see). It's also a beautiful walking tour. I will be signing up for the other tours on offer.
