  • This tour takes place in a functioning workshop, so it can get a little drafty. We recommend bringing an extra warm layer or two.
  • There is no luggage storage in the Weta Cave or at our tour spaces.
  • Photography is strictly prohibited in all tour spaces, unless specified by the tour guide.
  • Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them on board and disembark.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I love it, it's amazing and you can tell how much people enjoy working there. You can ask all sorts of questions and the guys are happy to answer and give you some insight of all the work that's been done there. Definitely a must do in Wellington, all the art is beautiful and you can get an idea of how much creativity is put into all the work.

Overall it was cool to hear about the process and see some of the props and models . The guide was very good but I expected it to be a lot more interactive and more photo opportunities. We all felt a bit underwhelmed.

Very informative and enthusiastic guides, both on the transfer shuttle and during the tour. Great insight into all these amazing and unique areas of creativity. Thank you. Kids enjoyed it all too.
