Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une visite de Washington avec Virginie! Nous étions une famille de 6 personnes dont deux adolescents de 15 et 12 ans. Tout le monde a adoré la visite et les explications historiques en lien avec les sites visités et l'apport de Français. Étant Québécois, nous avons la perception, avec nos cours d'histoire, que le support des Français sur le nouveau continent avait pris fin avec la victoire des Anglais sur les Plaines d'Abraham à Québec... au contraire, plusieurs Français ont supporté les Américains dans leur bataille!
Bref, une activité incontournable pour bien saisir l'histoire derrière chacun des monuments.
