We chose to have the guided tour which was interesting and entertaining. Mrs Rickards the 'housekeeper' kept us entranced with her monologue which added to the time we spent exploring the exhibits on our own. The top floor was full of local history and well presented.

Bishop's Palace was such a wonderful experience. Absolutely gorgeous and a great journey through time. The mansion was so beautiful and like nothing I had ever seen before, but as you go further up towards the top floor, there's even more local history, from the lovely old children's toys to the great showbands, and Waterford's perspective on 1916 and the pursuit of sovereignty. I would highly recommend visiting this spot, absolutely fascinating and, in my opinion, the most interesting history in the city! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly; as elegant as the mansion itself :) Top marks all round! ✨️
