Enjoy an exclusive excursion - without other participants - to the plateau of the Zugspitze (2,962 metres) glacier. The trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Fuessen accommodation. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable SUV-, Minivan- or Sportscar-vehicle. As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Eibsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria, the new Zugspitz cable car (opened 2017) will take us very close to the highest peak in Germany. During your stay on the plateau you will learn interesting information about the region's history and its role in World War II - plus you will enjoy a tasty traditional lunch inside the Panorama Lounge 2962! After our "at the top of Germany" experience, we will have a stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - the venue of the 1936 Olympic Games. After all we will head back towards Munich - to the agreed starting point or hotel/accommodation!

Sepp took us out to the largest and highest gondola ride we have ever seen. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, with the water, mountains and snow. Luckily Sepp prepared us to wear many warm clothes as it was freezing up on the mountain. Initially I was worried as I'm scared of heights however, the gondola ride felt very safe and smooth. I was not concerned about the height at all. Sepp of course was highly prepared with anything we might need, drinks, snacks, umbrellas, and organised a fantastic feast to try many delicious Bavarian meals. It was no worries at all that we had a 2 year old, Sepp made all the necessary accommodations for our toddler. A one of a kind tour guide!

We can’t thank Sepp enough for this tour and going above and beyond to help us get some medicine before we even got up the mountain. The cable car was very impressive and despite the wild weather was absolutely worth the journey. After a hearty Bavarian lunch we visited the ski area and then took the train back down the mountain which was well worth it. We’d highly recommend Sepp’s tours for everyone.

I wanted to show my son real snow. So I got in touch with our Hotel in Munich. They've quickly recommanded us Sepp the Guide. After exchanging some messages, I have booked the tour to the highest mountain of Germany. The Zugspitze! And guess what, I was able to fulfill one of my son's biggest wishes. We had an unforgettable trip! Sepp got in touch with us few days prior to the tour to ask us for our preffered food and drinks. Everythink was prepared perfectly. Sepp was an wonderful host! Ask for a car upgrade. He arranged us a Porsche SUV for our trip.
