My partner and I had a very early pickup time, but we appreciated the smaller group and knowledgeable tour guide. Jesus was incredibly kind, informative, and fun! We loved spending the day with him. He made sure to maximize our time in the various areas. For example, he suggested we head straight to the climbable ruin in Coba (before stopping to look at anything else) so we didn't have to wait in a very long line. We took his advice and were able to start climbing almost right away! Jesus was so knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and history. He kept our attention throughout the day. He never made us feel rushed, checked in with us during lengthy parts of the drives, and kept us laughing. We also want to highlight our driver, David. He made sure we arrived safely but expeditiously. We never had to wait for him when meeting in the parking area. We would travel with Jesus and David again!
There's so much to love about this trip! Tulum, the museum, climbing Coba, the culture you get to learn about, the cenote... It's so amazing and our guide, Jesus, was so kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this particular experience. 10/10 ????
This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. We visited the Tulum Archaeological Site, the Mayan Museum, the Cobá ruins, and finished the day at the Multun-Ha Cenote, and every stop was well worth it.
Our guides were phenomenal; David, our driver, and Jesus, our tour guide, were both extremely knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to be around. You could tell they truly cared about making the experience enjoyable and informative.
We started early, which I’m very glad we did. We were one of the first groups inside the Tulum ruins and spent about two hours exploring without crowds. As we were leaving, the lines had grown massive, so the early start made a huge difference. The admission fees were no more than what was communicated in the posting, which was great!
Cobá was another highlight. Being able to climb the pyramid was incredible. Once there, you can either rent bikes, take a bike taxi, or walk about 20 minutes through the jungle. I chose to walk, and it ended up being a great decision; Jesus pointed out trees, wildlife, and shared fascinating history along the way. Climbing to the top of the pyramid was absolutely worth it. On the way back, we took the bike taxi because we were definitely feeling it by then.
After Cobá, we stopped for a traditional Mexican meal at La Pirámide Cobá, and the food was amazing. Pro tip: eat after climbing the ruins, not before, doing those steps on a full stomach would’ve been rough.
Overall, this excursion was perfectly paced, educational, and a lot of fun. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially with David and Jesus. They truly made the experience unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for better guides!
