Where to start... I guess I'll start to explain why I'd like to rate them with no starts but Google doesn't let me do that so one star it is.
Continue to read our experience thoroughly for it might help you decide if you really want to book with these people or not.
My family of 13 just recently took a trip to MT and wanted to do all the fun extracurricular activities they have to offer and of course we wanted to rent UTVs.
The chaos all started when we received a call the day before our reservation that one of the 4-seater UTVs was damaged (which we understand happens in this industry). They didn't have a backup 4-seater UTV to fit the amount of people we reserved for, so instead they offered up the guides UTV. That would leave us with no guide and could only accommodate 12 instead of 13. We told them we would let them know as we now are just assuming that those plans were scratched and had to find a back-up plan in less than 24 hours for a party of 13 (which if anyone knows, can be very challenging).
On to the next day - day of supposed reservation - we receive a text message anytime around 10am to 11am that they had found another 4-steater UTV so we were thrilled, our plans are still in place. We show up before our reserved time to listen to the rules and to understand what our contact says. The pricing for each UTV they offered us was very very clear (RZR was minimum $3k and the Can-Am was a minimum of $5k for wrecking and/or damages ON OR OFF-TRAIL).
We started on our 2 hour tour and it was a very slow start, just about the first 45 minutes to an hour was almost all flat road and to be quite honest, it was very boring. But we knew there had to be more to be offered so we bit our tongue and waited to see. About an hour and a half in, we climbed mountains, sped through rocky terrain, and drove through very narrow dirt roads. It was a fun experience UNTIL we started to approach the end. As I mentioned above, we went through very narrow dirt trails that had sticks and trees on the trail and branches sticking out in the middle of the trail. Well, as we were driving at a fast speed through these trails to stay up with our guides, the third UTV (RZR) hit a stump ON THE TRAIL. Within 5 minutes of that happening, they realized the damages and one of guides continued that take us back for check-out and the other guide stayed with the damaged RZR.
As we all get back to check-out, the guide that brought us back stormed inside to tell the lady at the front desk (which is her mother - since it's a family owned business) that it was completely damaged BEFORE THROUGHLY ASSESING IT - because the mother(owner) comes out and is speaking about the damages and costs to some of the people in our party.
NOW TO REMIND YOU, we understood the conditions and costs if there was damages to any of the UTVs during riding, just want to make that clear.
Once the damaged UTV is examined and assessed, the manager takes the person driving the UTV inside to talk through damages and cost. It started to get very heated in conversations between the staff and our party because there was so much miscommunication on both sides. As voices start to raise, the staff start to get aggressive about "not making any money today because of these damages" - which is NOT true considering the person who damaged the UTV was paying for all the damages.
As the time goes on, every staff member(family member) starts to talk under their breathe to then running their mouth to our party instead of talking us down - because of course we were upset that we were being treated, as customers, in an unorderly fashion. All we wanted was a different approach on how it was handled from when we arrived to return the UTVs and check-out, instead, we got childish, disgusting, aggressive behavior from everyone at this business.
Although we did NOT have a good experience at the end, I'm not here to bash anyone. If that's how they want to run their business, so be it. I am simply stating in FINE detail how our experience went to prepare other families or parties before booking.
