Von der Abholung am Flughafen bis zurück nach Medan war bei unserer individuell zusammengestellten privaten Rundreise alles top organisiert: durchwegs super nette, sehr hilfsbereite und mega kinderfreundliche Fahrer und Guides, die jederzeit auf die wechselnden und verschiedenen Bedürfnisse einer Familie mit 2 Kindern Rücksicht genommen haben! Autos und Hotels alle sauber und komfortabel. Jederzeit wieder!!!

We had an unforgettable week in Sumatra, all thanks to Discover Sumatra’s amazing organisation. The two-day jungle trek in Bukit Lawang was challenging but incredibly rewarding — we saw many orangutans and monkeys, slept by the river, and swam in it too! The climb up Mount Sibayak at sunrise with Mel Gibson was another highlight (his pandan brownies and coffee made it extra special). We also loved our time at Lake Toba, getting to know the Batak people and their culture. Sharing an authentic Batak lunch with Eric and his family was a true highlight that gave us a real taste of local life. Huge thanks to all our incredible guides: the jungle team in Bukit Lawang, our safe and experienced driver Aries, brilliant Mel Gibson, and kind Eric on Samosir Island. Beautiful nature, genuine people, real adventure — we couldn’t have asked for more. Can't recommend it enough.

Amazing guides and driver-guides, pleasant places to stay and incredible responsiveness to questions and issues via WhatsApp and email. I was able to work with them and create the experience I was hoping for. Strongly recommend! Also found their guides more ecologically and culturally respectful and knowledgeable than others.
