Visited Lima in January from our cruise ship.Took the 2 day Lima option.Both days exceeded were great and was one of most interesting tours of our South America cruise.Felipe,our guide, very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for his home city and was able to communicate this so well.The first day was a full one--ancient ruins,local lunch,Lima city walking tour,local tapas and evening light show.The second day was up into the shanty town,buying food in the local markets and then distributing the food to locals.A not for profit organisation who put money back into the community through soup kitchens , homes for disadvantaged and schools.

Hervorragende 2-Tages-Tour mit einem wunderbaren Guide und unser Minibus war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Der Reiseveranstalter war sehr leicht zu kommunizieren und der Preis der Tour war sehr vernünftig. Ich habe diese Gegend schon früher besucht, also waren viele der Websites wiederholt, aber ich höre immer gerne den Kommentar des Reiseführers, und diese Tour war keine Ausnahme. Ich kann diesen Reiseveranstalter bei einem Besuch in Lima wärmstens empfehlen.

We were promptly met at the port by our guide Johnathan, trainee Stephanie and their driver. The two guides were extremely knowledgeable and congenial. Additionally the driver was of great assistance. We had a couple of items we needed to purchase during the day and the whole team worked hard to ensure we could get them with no problems.My wife and I learned a great amount of information during this tour. Johnathan assigned portions of the information to Stephanie who did a wonderful job. We feel that she will be a great asset to this tour company when she has completed her training. Johnathan was also a great guide for my wife and me as well as instructor for Stephanie.The first day was consisted of touring the significant and historical parts of Lima. The guides were able to answer all of our questions without hesitation. They were also able to avoid the big bus tours which were going on.Day two was a cultural and gastronomic tour. We were able to taste a great many of the local fruits and vegetables followed by a lunch of local cuisine. The tour was set up to provide us with a taste of the three main areas around Lima and it was successful. We would highly recommend this tour to others. Our guide team of Johnathan and Stephanie were wonderful. I wish I could remember the driver's name because he was also a great contributor to our day.
