We had a great guide Oscar, who helped us navigate the Bolivian border and then showed us the many lagoons in the Bolivian desert. We learned more about flamingos then ever before
Accommodation the 1st night was difficult because of the altitude and temperature was extremely cold.oscar did a great job getting us oxygenfor the person who really needed.
The highlight was the day in the Salt Flats. We liked the desert part but due to altitude issues didn't appreciate it as much as our day on the Salt Flats. We had a great picnic...good food in the middle of the flats.
Our second night out the Accommodation was beautiful .
Joker Expedition helped us get bus tickets to La Paz and also arranged for us to have extra oxygen on our bus

Still not over the incredible three-day trip with Oscar as our guide and Samuel as our driver. We were immersed in breathtaking nature for three full days — from vast salt flats and colorful lagoons to geysers, desert landscapes, and starry skies.
Oscar is a fountain of knowledge — about the country, its history, and its unique wildlife and plants.
Samuel got us safely from A to B — even when there were no roads for the last two days, just endless sand.
I travel a lot, but this one made my top three… if you can, try to get Oscar as your guide!

Just wrapped up the 3-day private Uyuni tour with Joker Expedition and honestly, it blew us away. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserves it.
Everything ran like clockwork from the second we landed. Our guide Alfredo was incredibly knowledgeable—not in a tour-guide-scripted way, but genuinely passionate about the landscapes, history, and culture. Our driver Samuel was a total pro too, navigating some crazy terrain without breaking a sweat. We always felt safe and well looked after.
The route was incredible—salt flats, flamingos, volcanoes, geysers, all of it. What made it next-level was how Joker handled the logistics. Beautiful private lunch in the middle of the salt flats, sunset wine, great food the whole way, and really nice hotels. Every part of it felt considered.
But here’s where they really went above and beyond: we ran into some border-crossing issues (our mistake), and they completely reorganized our schedule, transport, food, and even helped rebook flights—without charging anything extra. They had every reason to say “good luck” but instead took care of it all, no questions asked. If you don’t speak Spanish, that kind of backup is worth everything.
We met other travelers who did cheaper shared tours and heard some horror stories—missed pickups, bad food, rough accommodations. Ours was the complete opposite.
Yes, it’s more expensive than the group tours—but if you want peace of mind, comfort, and a trip that actually feels like a vacation, Joker is 100% worth it.
Would book with them again in a heartbeat.
