My wife and I visited La Terracita Asado on October 28, and it was excellent right from the beginning. Camilla greeted us warmly at the door as we arrived. Then she led that evening’s group up to the beautiful terrace. There were three other couples there from around the world, which lead to some great conversation. While Pablo prepared our dishes on the parilla (grill), Camilla provided an explanation of each item and the cooking techniques (right down to the choice of wood), as well as some cultural insights on what asado means for Argentinians - it’s not just the food or the parilla, rather it’s the whole social experience. There was plenty of great Argentinian wine - glass was never empty. The food was the real star of the evening. The beef was especially delicious - so succulent and juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Pablo really is a wonderful chef. We were also treated to a tasty dessert and the local favourite beverage, fernet and Coke. We honestly can’t say there was anything we didn’t like about the evening. If you are looking for an authentic asado experience, this is it. Thank you, Camilla and Pablo!
