A great trip with multiple sightings of various animals and birds. The high points were the tree lions of Tarangire, the lions resting on the kopje, the Serval cat, the honey badger and many more. The Nyoto luxury camp is excellent and all the boys and girls in various places were great. Will come back and specifically choose Shafino as our guide…. He is a great guy, patient and helpful.

Lion King Adventures is simply the best safari company you can pick and we had the best 9 day safari with them. Before we arrived, they were super helpful with answering questions and organizing. Then, everything during our trip went off without a single problem. We saw many other companies having car problems, cold boxed lunches, and bad animal viewing spots. We consistently had a clean and perfectly functioning car, hot lunches, and the best viewing spots. Our guide, Enock, was the youngest guide that we saw but that doesn’t stop him from knowing everything! We asked many questions and he was always able to answer them. He made our trip way more fun and enjoyable than we could have imagined. I also highly recommend purchasing the table mats offered by the company via the Masai women. They are absolutely beautiful and easy to pack in a suitcase for a great souvenir- and it goes towards a great cause! Thank you Enock for all your hard work, and thank you Lion King!

From the very start till the end, Lion King was professional, accessible, and present every step of the way to make our experience truly incredible. Our frontline agent, Kabwe, was great and smoothly organized all logistics. Our guide, Mwita, had SUCH an impressive knowledge of the landscape, the wildlife, and culture of the regions. Mwita was kind, helpful, and so passionate about sharing his expansive exposure (he grew up right in the serengeti!) to us. He had a sense of exactly where to go and when — a very challenging yet impactful skill — which let us to encounter rare leopards, lion hunts, wildebeest crossings of the Mara river, and more. Go with Mwita — you won’t regret it. We concluded our trip with a day hike within the Kilimanjaro park. Our guide here was Saladdin who was super engaging, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. He taught us songs and made a sincere effort connecting with us and our backgrounds. He was just the kindest soul and a very friendly guide who answered all our questions and more. Lodging was largely good overall — Kubu Kubu was a stand out in Central Serengeti along with Nyota lodge. Nyota had the most helpful and kind staff (all the lodges did but Nyota stood out because I left feeling like I was saying goodbye a friend I had made in a single night). The people are really heartfelt every step of the way, and the country is a beautiful place filled with elegant wildlife and genuine people. Mwita took us to a Maasai village where we could meet folks from the local tribe between Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The people here were so cool! They proudly displayed their culture and traditions — all of which were foreign to me. They danced and sung and included us in :) This was a one-of-a-kind experience. If you’re looking for an organized and stress-free safari, go Lion King. On top of that, if you are wanting an experience where you come out learning a TON across multiple spheres of knowledge from history to present day culture to wildlife to climate, go Mwita. I am coming out of this trip with a newfound love for wildlife that brings me back to childhood. The nine days of this safari revealed to me the most beautiful place I’ve ever set foot in. Lion King, Mwita, and Saladdin were absolutely at the crux of our positive experience. Asante sana Tanzania!
