Being honest and fixing problems with room And not putting guests in rooms with drain issues Don’t except room 314 We were on this ship for one night when I took a shower I noticed that there were little black pieces of something on the shower stall When my wife flushed the toilet a whole bunch of black waste came out of the shower drain We called the front desk who sent up an assistant who than called a young man to clean up the shower stall Than several other man appeared with a vac who vac the drain and the whole shower stall filled with a horrible black sludge They wiped it up again and left after we said we would not stay in that room They offered us a room in the bottom of the boat and said it was the only room available When I asked the man who was cleaning up the mess if this happened before he said yes We slept in the room for the night since it was already 9:30pm but my wife did not take a shower We insisted that we be moved to a hotel that our group would eventually go to The next day management and our travel agent offered to pour bleach down the drain every hour We said no to that suggestion as it was acknowledging that there was a problem In addition we had been warned by 2 nurses in our group that we could be exposing ourselves to ecolli The next day the ship and our travel agent moved us to a hotel This is not a 5star boat

2022/Juni mit Phönix Reisen. Das Schiff könnte zwar etwas Renovierung gebrauchen ist aber angenehm. Wir würden 4* vergeben nach den Europäischen Standards. Das Essen ist 5*!!! Personal super freundlich, jedoch am Sonnendeck sehr jung und ziemlich untrainiert. Man muss stark auf „Espresso"bestehen sonst gäbe es nur Nescafé... nach dem 3. Tag klagten viele der Mitreisenden auf Verdauungsbeschwerden(…).. Es kann nur vom Zähneputzen mit Leitungswasser kommen, denn alles andere konnten wir alle ausschließen. Das taten wir aber auch nur weil der Reiseleiter Ahmed ausdrücklich betonte dass man mit dem gereinigtem Wasser aus der Leitung bedenkenlos Zähne putzen darf... NEIN! Bitte nur mit Mineralwasser! Ausflüge: ACHTUNG!!! Heißluftballon Fahrten werden von der örtlichen PartnerAgentur von Phönix Reisen, Dynasty Travel, in Luxor zum doppelten Preis wie woanders angeboten!!! Vor Ort 65€, bei Dynastie Travel 110-120€! Die lange Fahrt nach Abu Simbel (knapp 5 Stunden/weg) war unbequem mit dem kleinen Bus. Es sollte mehr auf Komfort geachtet werden wenn es alles als 5* Service verkauft wird. Trinkgeld: Das Personal wartet sehnsüchtig darauf, wir würden beim nächsten mal eher denen persönlich geben, als dem Reiseleiter und wer weiß wo es am Ende landet
