I wish I asked our driver/tour guide the right spelling of his name, whether it’s Sean or Shaun, so I can give him his flowers. For this review, I will call him Sean, as he repeated his name multiple times during the trip. As he would say, ‘Hello, I am Sean, and I am accountable!’ ????
Sean elevated this experience for us with his kindness, knowledge and overall enthusiasm. He was not just shuttling us from Banff to Jasper but he was sharing all these stories and information, showing such passion about Jasper and the Rockies. When we were the last persons to get to the bus and he had to come and look for us, he was so kind in how he treated us, saying, we shouldn’t be stressed. It was just that compassion that set him apart. He kept saying how the trip should be stress-free and he delivered.
The trip was just awesome because the Canadian Rockies and its lakes are just picturesque. Peyto lake and its turquoise waters was beautiful despite having so many people, and we stopped by so many spots for pictures. For the Glacier adventure, I recommend everyone to use water-proof boots as our sneakers just submerged our feet in cold water when we were walking on the glacier.
The overall experience, with all the stops, the excellent, filling lunch (humongous sandwiches!) and our outstanding tour guide/driver Sean made that day shuttling from Banff to Jasper truly memorable! I liked our guide so much I asked for a picture! The price is a bit steep but with the Glacier adventure and stops we made, it was worth it!
