I had a truly enjoyable time. Both the guide and the driver were very friendly and open to various requests. Since it's a tour, most parts are pre-arranged, but they were flexible and willing to accommodate changes as long as they didn’t affect the overall itinerary. The guide was a student, and he was incredibly smart. Since he was also interested in the IT industry like me, we had a wide-ranging conversation covering everything from Kyrgyzstan’s economy and tech scene to everyday life there. The drives are long, so if you enjoy talking, it’s a great opportunity to learn a lot about the country. Of course, you're also free to spend the time chatting with your travel partner instead. I’m usually not the type of traveler who joins tours — I tend to travel independently as a backpacker. But in Kyrgyzstan, transportation options are limited, and many of the attractions are difficult to reach without local connections or private transport.
